In Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018), Tom Cruise parachutes onto the Grand Palais glass roof, rides the wrong way round the Arc de Triomphe and meets Ilsa in the Palais-Royal garden. All these places can be visited. From Hôtel Concortel, metro line 13 reaches the Grand Palais (Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau) in two stops.
Where was Mission: Impossible – Fallout filmed in Paris?
The sixth film in the series, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, was shot in Paris, London, Norway and New Zealand. According to Wikipedia and specialist sites, its Paris locations include the Grand Palais, the Palais-Royal garden, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bir-Hakeim bridge and the Quai d'Austerlitz.
The Grand Palais
Ethan Hunt and August Walker land on the Grand Palais glass roof, where the White Widow is hosting a party. The spectacular club in the film was built for the shoot. Admire the glass roof from avenue Winston-Churchill, opposite the Petit Palais.
The wrong-way Arc de Triomphe
The cult scene: Ethan rides his motorbike the wrong way round Place Charles-de-Gaulle. According to Atlas of Wonders, the Arc de Triomphe was closed to traffic for 90 minutes for the shoot. Do not try this yourself! Climb to the Arc's terrace instead to see the twelve avenues fanning out.
The Palais-Royal garden
This is where Ethan meets Ilsa Faust. The free garden, with its lime-tree alleys and arcades, is one of the most peaceful in Paris.
The Bir-Hakeim bridge
Its two levels (metro on top, cars and pedestrians below) make it a favourite film set. It offers one of the finest views of the Eiffel Tower.
