Salon du Chocolat 2026: five sweet days at Porte de Versailles

What is the Salon du Chocolat?

Founded in 1995, the Salon du Chocolat is Paris’s big gathering of chocolatiers, pastry chefs and cocoa growers. The 2026 edition takes place in Hall 5 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 28 October to 1 November, with an opening night on the evening of Tuesday 27 October.

What is there to do?

• Browse the stands of chocolatiers and pastry chefs, with tastings and shopping.
• Watch the free demonstrations on the Pastry Show stage.
• Join one of the many tasting workshops on the programme.
• See the famous chocolate dress fashion show; times are posted on the fair’s website.
• Meet the chefs appearing with Gault&Millau, a partner of this edition.

When to go and how to get there?

The fair opens every day from 10 am to 7 pm. Weekend slots (31 October and 1 November) are the busiest, so come on a weekday if you can and buy your ticket online in advance; prices vary by day and booking date. From the Concortel, take line 12 at Madeleine towards Mairie d’Issy to Porte de Versailles: about a 30-minute ride (estimate). Tram lines T2 and T3a also serve Porte de Versailles.
