Which stations are closed near the hotel?
According to the RATP, as reported by Sortiraparis, more than thirty stations are closed, most from 5.30 am. Near the 8th:
- Line 1: Charles-de-Gaulle–Étoile, George V, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau, Concorde and Tuileries, from opening time.
- Line 7: Opéra, Chaussée d’Antin–La Fayette and Pyramides, from 11 am.
- Line 4: Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Odéon, from noon; Bastille and République also close during the morning.
- More than a hundred Vélib’ stations are out of service between Châtelet and the Champs-Élysées until Monday morning.
Madeleine and Saint-Lazare were not on the lists published on Friday, but further closures may be decided during the day.
What is the route?
Reports differ. According to France 3 and Sortiraparis, the administrative court authorised the Bastille–Nation route after a ban by the prefecture; other articles mention a Porte de Bagnolet–Porte de Charenton route set by the prefecture, starting at 2 pm. Either way, the march stays in eastern Paris, far from the Concortel. Curfews have also been announced: check the police prefecture’s orders before going out in the evening.
