The Monday-night laugh

Every Monday, comedian Léa Lando brings half a dozen stand-ups to the stage of the Concorde Atlantique boat, moored at Port de Solférino, between the Assemblée nationale and the Musée d’Orsay. The idea behind La Seine Ouverte: a stand-up show of a little over an hour, where each comedian plays an excerpt from their show or tries out new jokes on the audience.

Why we love it

  • A new line-up every week: you never see the same show twice.
  • Parity on stage: Léa Lando makes a point of inviting almost as many women as men.
  • A unique setting: laughing on the Seine, with the riverbanks as a backdrop, makes for a very Parisian evening.

How to get there from the Concortel?

Take Line 12 at Madeleine to Assemblée nationale (2 stops), then walk about 300 m to quai Anatole France. The show starts at 8pm: arrive a little early. Before it, why not dinner at one of our gourmet addresses?
